Malaga Airport Terminal 2

Malaga Airport Terminal 2, also known as Pablo Ruiz Picasso Terminal, was opened in 1991. It was designed in order to operate along with Terminal 3

When the new Terminal 3 opened, Terminal 2 was refurbished. Most people consider that currently Terminal 2 and 3 have been merged. The arrivals waiting area was closed to make easier the transfers between terminals.

In 2017 it was announced a new refurbishment which consisted in new flooring, improvement of the toilet facilities and repainting the exterior of the building. It is expected it will be completed by late 2019.

Nowadays, Malaga Airport Terminal 2 serves as check-in and arrivals terminal for both non-EU and non-Schengen flights.

EasyJet, Ryanair and EasyJet Switzerland and flights check in at Terminal 2, since it is home of Concourse B and C, although they are integrated in Terminal 3.

Transfer between terminals

You can easily transfer between terminals since they are connected through the former waiting area of Terminal 2.
