Malaga Airport Taxis

The trip from Malaga Airport to the city center takes approximately 20 minutes.

In order to identify the official taxis, please bear in mind that the vehicles are white and have a blue stripe on the side.

We recommend you to make sure the driver has turned on the taximeter prior the beginning of the journey (to make sure the minimum fare is applied).

In case you left any personal belonging in public taxis, please contact Municipal Taxi institute: +34 952 327 200. Opening hours: From 09:30 am to 13:00 pm.



In the arrivals area of Terminal 3 from there’s a taxi rank enabled which also connects with the train via a pedestrian path.

In other areas of the airport taxis can be stopped or even get on one that is in one of the designated rows. Taxis available are identified because they emit a green light.

Taxis distinguished service between rates (1 or 2) and urban or inter-urban areas.
Fare 1 is applied between 06:00 am and 22:00 pm on weekdays. See fares below:

  • Waiting time: €19.37
  • Minimum airport service: €17.00.

Fare 2 is applied between 22:00 pm and 06:00 am on weekdays, Saturday and public holidays. See fares below:

  • Minimum fare: €1.85
  • Price/km: €1.06
  • Waiting time: €24.06
  • Minimum airport service: €19.01.

Leaving the airport there is an additional charge and other charges are also added if trips are nocturnal, extra baggage, etc.

Shared Rides

Shared ride service is available to those who wish to share a ride and pay a flat rate to certain destinations if multiple parties are available for the trip. Apps such as Uber may be useful to do so.
